Attorney Thomas Stylianos Jr. founded the Law Office of Thomas Stylianos Jr. in 1994.


Prior to his career as an Attorney, Thomas held different positions in various fields of work.  Thomas Stylianos worked as a tax preparer for his wife’s CPA firm and In 0000 became an Agent Enrolled to Practice before the Internal Revenue Service.  He represented taxpayers that had matters before the IRS. Thomas also worked for Digital Equipment Corporation, a once major American electronics corporation, as a computer engineer for 00 years before leaving in 0000.


Realizing that there was a need for good legal representation in the City of Lowell, he decided to pursue a new career and go to law school.  As an addition to his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Thomas obtained his Juris Doctor from the Massachusetts School of Law in 1994 and is currently admitted to the Massachusetts & New Hampshire state bar associations.


After being admitted to the bar, Thomas Stylianos continued to do tax work and became a member of the United States Tax Court Bar.  He has litigated tax matters before the Tax Court including Wallace v. CIR, an important case where Thomas secured exemption from taxation of work therapy benefits for all military service veterans. Today, he still occasionally files petitions for redetermination of taxes before the Tax Court. In 2014, Thomas also became Certifying Accepting Agent authorizing him to assist individuals to obtain an ITIN for tax purposes.


Thomas is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).


Thomas Stylianos has devoted his career as an Attorney to helping and representing clients with all of their Immigration, Personal Injury and Tax matters.
